Founded in 1988, Northwatch is a coalition of environmental and social justice groups in northeastern Ontario. Northwatch works with its members and colleagues to address environmental and social concerns related to natural resource use, particularly mining and logging, and other regional issues, such as toxic waste, the nuclear industries and waste disposal schemes, and air and water quality.
